Well I have a golf club in the area that needs 70 to 80 16" x 12" coroplast signs with stakes. These signs will have different sponsors on them...mostly names ie. " JOHN JOHNSON" and the country clubs logo on the bottom. I told them that most would be around the $12 range but those that need excact logos will be more. What do you guys think...I figure it will take me an hour to get all the stuff in the computer...I will pack every thing tight and use the cheapest material I have...and maybe 6 hrs to put them together with one person helping. I look forward to your comments.

Hey Dave, I use those "golfball" looking coroplas signs. What I do is rent them to th Tournament anywhere from $0-$12 ea. based on 18 of 'em. I then charge between $8 and $10 ea. for the "graphic", which is usually an appropiate letter style of 1,2, or 3 lines of copy depending on sponsors name. I do laminate this "graphic" as it is just run oof of my desk-jet printer (usually black). I stay away from all the logotypes etc. because of the "temporariness" (such a word?) of signs. Once they see these "golfball" signs they are more than happy. Part of my rental agrrement is that I supply the graphics. I am very pleased with profits from this type of work. With non-profit groups I usually waive the rental fee in lieu of sponsoring a hole myself. Many of these players are well connected to the bigger events as well and will order 36 of these at time, $$$$$. Not only will they look good , but so will you, WIN-WIN.

Hi! I just finished a bunch of those 6 days ago. I charge 10.00 each. The stakes are 3.50 extra. I know what you mean about working up until the last minute. Usually I am delivering them at 5:00 in the AM just in time for the tournament. (But they always have great donuts, so it is fun) surf cheryl bianchi surfsigns

For 18x24 Corplast I charge $20 and only include logos if I already have them in my computer. I usually mix up 3 or 4 basic inermeadiate colors with a small line at the top saying "This Hole Sponsored By:" in black. The price does include the light weight coro stakes but most of the tournements I do have been doing this for several years and have the stakes already. (I don't drop the price). These signs can be kind of fun if you let them be, I try to allow myself a certain amount of time to come up with an eye catching layout (say 5 min.) for each sign that gives everyone a distinct look (in otherwords they don't all come out plastered with helvetica medium) I also make sure that my shop sticker is in the bottom corner on all the fronts and usually at the top/middle on the back.
Happy Golfing....

Gawd I must be doing something right. Here's a link to my page showing prices. http://members.home.com/sign-it/sponsor.html I figure that these people get anywhere from $100 - $500 a sponsor. What I charge for these "reusable" corogated plastic is not enough. B.T.W., a run of 18 of any of these signs should take me no more than 4 hours. Start to finish. Havin' fun, Checkers

for that many signs with custom logos, I have get my local screen print guy to do a one color screen print on coroplast of the golf club logo. I pay about $3 each for 18x24. then I cut vinyl logos for each one of the sponsors. I depending on how many colors, I sell these for about $28 dollars a each. don't sell yourself short. there is alot of computer work involve with doing logos you don't already have. so always leave room for the unexpected.
