Hi Ya'll! Happy Friday! I'm going through the Computer Graphics Pricing Guide and I don't see a listing for Alumalite or Alumacore, Econolite or any of those types of substrates. How are any of you pricing those? Thanks for the imput! Patty

I would just figure the % difference in cost between MDO and the other substrates at wholesale level taking into consideration prep time of MDO, and add that much in % to the end cost for MDO. I took a gander in my 2001 signwriters book and towards the bottom, it says "for aluminum cald corrigated plastic or plywood Add sq. ft of material used....$2.50" That would be for AlumCorr and the Aluminum clad MDO stuff. I personally use Nudo FiberCorr for all white signs and AlumaCorr for all colored stuff. I hate MDO. I can handle a peice of FiberCorr one handed and it is really tuff stuff. Cuts like butter too.

i price those things pretty close to the same as acryllic signs -- the material is close to the same price, and the prep time is the same (ie, remove the protective sheeting and you're ready to go!).
if you were doing a LARGE job (more than two 4x8 pieces) you might have to adjust your prices.
