Got a question to any edge people out there. A client has a request for 2500 fridge magnets. Design is done 2 colour spot. I can do them 6 up approx 2 x 3 inches. How many hours is it going to take me to do them? I am new to this game.

I don't know about you but it'd take me about 3 minutes to email the order to Stouse in Kansas. I have an Edge2 but at that quantity it would cost less to send it out.

Rough calculations, perhaps someone else will give more accurate numbers.
EDGE2 run time (40 IPM) 2 colors on 100’ roll = 60min 2 colors on approx 10’ of 25’ roll = 6min Just over 1hr run time
EDGE run time (30 IPM) 2 colors on 100’ roll = 80min 2 colors on approx 10’ of 25’ roll = 8min Just under 1.5hrs run time
Above run times are for continues, full length run. It may be in your best interest to do shorter run lengths, which in turn, will increase those run times. But those shorter runs may leave you with less wasted material and more hair on your head.
Plotter run time is going to depend on plotter, plotter settings, complexity of cut, and if you know some of the tricks of plotting mag. If you can successfully plot at 15sec each, you’re looking at just under 10.5hrs for plotting.
Although you did not solicit for any advice, I’m curious what your production cost will be verse silk screening? Just inquiring.
