Roland Builds Certified Inkjet Media Line with New Glossy Banner, Vinyl and Paper
Irvine, CA, April 29, 2010 – Roland DGA Corp. has expanded its ECO-SOL MAX certified media line with three new products: ESM-GBV Glossy Banner Vinyl, ESM-PCV3 Premium Cast Vinyl 3 and ESM-SGP3 Solvent Glossy Paper 3. Designed for use with Roland eco-solvent wide-format inkjet printers and printer/cutters, this new generation of media products is affordably priced while meeting the company’s high standards for quality and performance.

ESM-GBV Glossy Banner Vinyl
A great all-purpose banner product, Roland ESM-GBV is an ideal economy solution for short-term and long-term indoor and outdoor signage, point of purchase displays and banners. Designed to produce brilliant, color-saturated prints, it also dries fast for increased productivity. ESM-GBV is extremely durable and can be cut to edge or hemmed and sewn. ESM-GBV can be finished with grommets and pole pockets.
ESM-PCV3 Premium Cast Vinyl 3
ESM-PCV3 is a premium-quality 2 mil glossy cast uncoated vinyl with a special permanent removable adhesive that is easier to apply and remove than traditional permanent adhesives. Ideal for indoor and outdoor applications ranging from signage, labels and decals to vehicle graphics and wraps, ESM-PCV3 is conformable to rivets and irregular curves or indentations. ESM-PCV3 is highly durable and water-resistant. Lamination is recommended for fleet applications or to protect images from abrasion and chemical deterioration.
ESM-SGP3 Solvent Glossy Paper 3
ESM-SGP3 is an 8-mil value priced glossy paper specially coated for ECO-SOL MAX ink. With an excellent white point and gloss level, ESM-SGP3 is well suited for short-term outdoor display and indoor applications including photographic reproductions, trade show graphics and point-of-purchase displays where there is a need for high detail and vibrant color imaging. ESM-SGP3 is sturdy, water-resistant and highly scratch resistant. Lamination is recommended to protect from abrasion.
