Roland is proud to announce the Pure Print Performance Challenge, inviting professionals planning to purchase a wide format inkjet printer to put Roland’s award-winning line of inkjet printers and printer/cutters to the test.
The Challenge covers all Roland AdvancedJET, Hi-Fi JET Pro II, Hi-Fi Express, SOLJET, VersaArt, VersaUV and VersaCAMM printers and printer/cutters. To participate, professionals simply need to bring a JPEG, TIFF or Illustrator file, at a maximum print size of 30” x 48” (or 4’x5’ depending on printer size) to any Roland Authorized Dealer location throughout North and South America (except Brazil) for test printing on a Roland inkjet.

Roland Intelligent Pass Control Technology
First introduced in the SOLJET PRO III line, Roland Intelligent Pass Control technology virtually eliminates banding by optimizing masking patterns and dot placement at the edge of each pass. With Roland Intelligent Pass Control, consecutive passes are overlapped and feathered so they literally become one continuous image. As a result, finished prints reflect unmatched image quality overall with smoother gradations and dense, flawless solid colors in every print mode. Roland Intelligent Pass Control also increases productivity by allowing users to achieve the same print quality at higher speeds.
SOLJET PRO III inkjet printers and printer/cutters, VersaUV printer/cutters and VersaArt printers come equipped with Roland Intelligent Pass Control technology. Customers of VersaCAMM VP printer/cutters and AdvancedJET grand-format printers can upgrade their devices with the technology free of charge.
