Roland DGA Corporation is proud to introduce the Roland Masters Gallery, a Web-based art gallery formally recognizing the achievements of top Roland inkjet users including sign makers, screen printers, apparel decorators, vehicle and other graphics professionals and artists worldwide.
Previously featured in Roland advertisements and other marketing programs, Roland Masters were selected based on a portfolio of work that reflects exceptional creativity and execution. In addition, Roland Masters each demonstrate a high level of technical expertise.
“Roland printers and integrated printer/cutters have been chosen by many of the industry’s most creative professionals, and we are enthusiastic about this opportunity to showcase their work and demonstrate the true potential of Roland inkjet technology,” said Patrick Kersey, creative director for Roland. “We are inspired by the design and production skills of these industry leaders and we remain committed to providing digital printing solutions that meet their high standards for quality, precision, performance and reliability.”
Roland Masters have been selected from a range of industries. Each Master has extensive experience with Roland’s award-winning inkjet printers and integrated printer/cutters and all have chosen Roland equipment based on its superior engineering, reliability and performance.
To date, the Roland Masters Collection has recognized the following professionals:
Martin Charles, Hollywood Film Graphic Designer, Los Angeles, CA Jim Conquest, Imagine-It Graphics, Murrieta, CA Enrico Del Mar, Modern Image Signworks, San Diego, CA Matt Richart and Dallas Fowler, Digital EFX Wraps, Louisville, KY Eric Goodwin, Garage Graphics, Orange County, CA Jay Lansburg, Automic Designs, Buena Park, CA TJ Rose, TJ Rose Fine Art & Artistic Giclee Services, Henderson, NV Mike and Paul Chaklos, Above and Beyond, Irvine, CA Masters Discuss Roland Technology
“The challenge of replicating today’s visual communications is greater than ever before because of the high standards that are expected,” said Martin T. Charles of SagaBoy Productions, Roland Master and Hollywood film graphic designer for feature films including the new Tom Hanks/Julie Roberts film Charlie Wilson’s War and the 2006 blockbuster, Miami Vice. “If there is a one-and-only, must-have printer for a designer, the Roland SOLJET printer/cutter is that printer. It is far superior in its ability to print beautiful images on almost any material quickly, and the cutting technology is unmatched.”
“Many vehicle wraps look great from a distance, but the true test of a quality wrap is the print itself and what it looks like up close,” said Roland Master Matt Richart of Digital EFX Wraps. “We go exclusively with the Roland solution because we know it is tested, certified and approved by the company to deliver the outstanding results our customers demand.”
“I have looked at other comparable printers and they are not producing what I’m seeing out of the Roland,” said TJ Rose, Roland Master and owner of TJ Rose Fine Art and Artistic Giclee Services. “I’m getting colors that are, to me, unbelievable. I get fuchsias, azure blues and true natural greens – colors that people say you’ll never be able to get in a giclee.”
