While we do on occasion try and assist customers with a legitimate need to sell their copy of EstiMate, it is always in the best interest of both parties to contact us prior to any transaction to ensure that the proper steps have been taken to protect both buyer and seller. There are copies of EstiMate that come as part of bundled packages from third party vendors which are clearly marked “Not for Resale” and cannot be sold by themselves. In all cases the proper documentation including, but not limited to a Bill of Sale signed by the seller will be required to legitimize any copy of EstiMate sold by an individual. Again if you wish to buy a copy of EstiMate from an individual or if you are selling a copy please contact us at 1-888-304-3300 for further instruction.
As most of you know we are currently working on version 2 of the EstiMate Visual Pricing System. We have recently posted some information on our website, which is mostly in preparation for the alpha testing stage, but has some key information regarding who is entitled to a free upgrade to version 2. If you bought EstiMate (from us directly) on or after July 1st, 2007 you will receive the upgrade to version 2 for free, otherwise you will need to purchase the upgrade.
