No offence but it still looks like a genetic mutant! I would like to suggest that you work on three sections (like the old colouring in books) they would need to revolve though....large blocks, turning intermittantly. This would give multiple animal options and be more of a laugh than anything. Something to grab the kids attention. You didn't mention the space or budget involved so I'm just guessing here. Anyhow, food for thought.
