We did it for another sign shop, a vinyl shop that we did sandblasted and carved work for. They were doing it for an advertising company that designed it. They came to us and asked for a 3-D sign and told us to look at an example they liked. It was an mdo sign with aluminum pieces looking like water screwed on. We said NO, we know what to do. The client never had any true idea of what they were getting until they saw the finished product. We only had three weeks to finish as the park was opening. They had taken 6 months to decide on colors. Typical. The telephone poles were made to look like bamboo. We used real aquarium gravel for the sand part epoxied on. The faces were 10 feet long and about 6-8 inches thick at the thickest part. At each of the three pole clusters one pole was concreted into footers the others were strapped to the solid ones and the straps covered with rope. We got about $19000. Don't know what Busch paid after two other companies added their cut.
