I have been playing with different versions of logos for myself for the past year or so, with no luck. Last night I started this one, and finished it just a little while ago today. The text 'A Step' and 'Signs' started as Geometr855 BT, with lots of changes and a prismatic effect added to 'Signs'. 'Above' is New City with the 'A' from Chicago. Let me know what you guys think. I really like this, and am planning on using it to redo my website, some van graphics, and new full color business cards. Thanks for any input!

I think you got it now Tyler. Looks really good.
If you're like me, you get tired of things after awhile and change it all again. I usually keep a logo design for a year or so, and change again. Keeps me fresh, and keeps my image fresh. Nice job Tyler.

Looks real good. How do you add the "Prismatic " effect to the word ( SIGNS )????

Arvil,
Once I had the word 'Signs' how I wanted it, i printed out a couple copies as line art. Then i just figured out how the light would hit them and penciled in the lines. Then it was just a matter of about an hour at the keyboard putting it all together. Maybe I will do a step-by-step in the near future about creating your own prismatic lettering in corel draw... as far as tools to use to make it easiest and most accurate

Jon,
I have read Daves step by step several times, and it seems to be a little "Labor intensive" for me..I think I would like Tylers method best.
( I thought there may be a "MAGIC" Prismatic Button ) that I had overlooked he he he......
Does any one have a program that has one ?
