I was bored so I painted the windows on the front of my house. I am really pleased with how they turned out since I have never done this before!!

I scanned a picture from my daughters coloring book and then drew it on the plotter and pounced it by hand.

White is flat house paint and the colors are Delta Ceramcoat.

I would like to do that Shep, but I'm a stay-at-home mom with a 2 year old daughter. Maybe in a few years.

What do window splash artist charge anyway??

Thanks Adrienne & John!

John, I am not sure what the brushes are called because I don't really paint that much. One was angled about 1/2" wide and I did the black outlines with a round type with bristles about 1 1/2" long!

Sorry I don't know the type or terms for them!! You can buy them at Michaels

Nice Job Amy!

Carry abit of that snow into the other window, and it'll look more like one continuous scene.

I'm with Dan ...what's bored?
I'm still trying to get bored enough to deal with my Christmas tree! whew!

Thanks Neil & Nettie!

Neil, Our house is actually framed and block with wood siding. We bleach it every year and put an oil type finish on it to keep it up. Just did that a couple weeks ago!

Nettie, I agree. The non-flow of the two windows has been driving me crazy. I need to finish it. I wanted to do it the other day but I ran out of daylight and had relatives come over.

Hey Amy!

We just love your windows. We have thought about doing something like that but we just don't have the time to do it.

With all the stuff to do at the shop, things to do around the house, and an excursion to the Twin Cities coming up, time is a very precious commodity around here!

Keep up the excellent work. You are coming along very nicely. It is good to see some up and comers in the craft!

Have a great one!

A nice job Amy, especially for your first shot at it. Your neighbors are gonna want their windows done now.
