After spending many hours on the last logo design i had you all critique, i decided to scrap it. It just didn't really do it for me. So here is a new idea, still in stages of development. So feel free to give me any advice or suggestions or whatnot

The only problem i have run into so far, is the actual name of my business is A step above signs, yet i cant seem to fit an 'A' in this design without throwing it off... 'Step Above' is New City from sign dna and 'Signs' is modified Banner (by dan antonelli), also from sign dna.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Tyler.
Looks pretty good.
I liked your first versions better myself.
When i first seen it I thought that Signs was a bit too bold for me and the fade in the script weakend the impact.
I like the colours.
You do good work Tyler.

Just my two cents

Hi, Tyler,

Only thing I would suggest is stronger contrast between "step above" and the gray background. When one squints at the picture, the lettering in those two words sort of fades or blends into the background.

Not too sure about the lightning bolt as far as where it fits into the scheme of things, and did like the earlier versions better.

Just my .02

Thanks for the input, guys. I realized I have been approaching this the wrong way, and am going to try some other ideas. I will post them whenever I get it all together.

hey tyler,

i love your work buddy.
if i might give my humble opinion.

not enough difference in line value.

make objects and outlines pop by using different thickness in outlines.

keep up the good work .

a tyler fan,

mark

I dont like the font on SIGNS, its to bold and gets a little muddy. Ever think about an asending staircase leadinging up to the name?
