Recently a local real estate office has been using my services. The agents are buying house warming gifts for their clients when they buy a house. This is a picture of the latest sign I did for a woman who is a school teacher. It is all hand painted. These are fun little projects. This on was done on 3/4 inch MDO.

Hey Rob, I like that idea. I dont mean to be nosey, but what did ya charge them for that sign? did you give them different basic designs for other signs?

Rick- I try to get $150-$200 for a sign like this. The total size was like 11"x30". I got $100 plus some advertising in a local Real Estate book for this one. I never throw MDO scraps away. You never know when you will have small signs like these you can use them for. I tend not to give more than one drawing unless they want to pay me for it. I will come up with an idea and work from there. Verbally I will tell a customer the difference between black vinyl on white aluminum vs. hand painted wood signs. Works for me.
Here is another small sign I did for the same Real Estate Office.
