This sign is to match our customers business cards, which are debossed on the brick area. We carved and blasted the HDU to look like brick. Its hard to see in this photo, but the grout lines are cut deep, and the brick is about a 1/4" below the flat areas. The sides, top and bottom have the same dimensional texture. The flat areas are to look like stucco over the brick. These signs mount to 2" steel posts.

Before I start, let me tell you I'm a newbee. (I've been doing mostly vinyl on race cars, not much time to play lately) ok, that out of the way....

It looks GREAT! I can't wait to start playing with stuff like that.

I saw in the step by step section how to make old lookng signs. Stopped to see a client today and he had several old pallets sitting outside he wanted rid of. I grabbed them up, they'll be perfect for learning how to do old signs (and save me some $ in the learning process.)

Now, I want to start playing with sandblasting too.

If only my clients would leave me alone to play.....
