Made this one last fall......all pine, hand carved (no sanding) and stained with oil stains. Finish coated with polyurethane. 54" long. Thanks everyone! This is signmaking that is really fun for me.......sometimes I wish I didn't carve em so fast (so i could enjoy the process longer ) Phil, it's 1 1/4" thick and 10+ inches tall. It's mounted off the ground with stainless screws from the back. Easy to remove when the sign needs re-coating.
