Worked an open house at a Harley dealer this weekend. The lead guitarist wanted his guitar striped but was wondering how to do it and have it dry. No problem. I striped his while the band was on break. The next break, here comes the rhythm guitarist. This would not have worked with One Shot!
Was a good weekend, did a dresser all over, a cruiser, a helmet and two Fenders.

Hey George, These look Great...I have a question not related to the fenders but hope you can help...Was wondering have you ever painted on "anodized aluminum"? Been reading, some say you have to prime, others say the anodizing pretty much is the primer...The company was to send me samples to play on, but the material arrived and no samples...So Just wondering if you had and whether you scuffed, or just wiped down with laquer thinner, or primed with etching primer? Anyway if you can help thats great...Thanks, Pat.

Pat, I don't remember ever painting anodized aluminum. I do know that the process of anodizing changes the properties of the aluminum. I'm not sure if it would enable it to be painted or even if a self etching primer would work. Like yourself, I'd be wanting to experiment on a small piece.

You sanded the guitar, airbrushed the black fade, pinstriped it and cleared it that fast? That is really fast!
