Here's a little job I just finsihed up. It's for a woodworker supply store. I had to do a little finishing up before delivery. I used 1-Shot mixed with a clear wood varnish to achive the watercolor look of the picture the customer provided me with.

Alicia, I really like that. It is top notch. I can tell by your expression that you are pleased with the outcome as well. Does your work loosen up according to how tight your curlers are wrapped? Just messin' wid you.

Nice! I like the effect of the varnish in the paint. I'd add a couple of coats of 1shot UV clear (as long as it will work over the varnish) because I imagine the 1 Shot will fade fast with the thinned amount of pigment.

Actually, it's going outdoors, under the roof awing, framed, behind glass. Just like the other ones he has. I pretty sure the 1-Shot will not fade. It has quite a few layers of paint. Kinda like an airbrushed painting. And they don't fade.

Wow, more great talent shining through! I keep looking at it - the lighting and shadows and action - it's a classic! I hope you signed and dated it.

Alicia - the colors in that painting are so well-suited to the subject matter that you can almost 'smell' the wood! Sucks you right into the scene. Nice job!!

What a fun project to do! Nicely done! Seeing you in curlers reminds me why I stopped even going into the workshop before I have coffee and breakfast. More than once I've been so excited to get started I skip doing the basics in the morning....I'll go out thinking "I just want to see if that piece is dry" and end up deep in work.
