Here is a logo that I have been working on for my niece that is opening a business in town. She was looking more for a hand drawn feel. So that is what I did, drew it with a marker, scanned it into the computer and cleaned it up. The only font that I used was LHF Sarah script.

Great effort-I particularly like the V, g & B.
(but I think I'd like to have the leafy parts surrounding Button a whisker less bold, so more emphasis goes to the words, or perhaps the tail stroke of the n could have begun one of the floral parts also)

I know that I have spent way too much time on this but it was troubling me for some reason. I eliminated the triangle and the script font because it seemed out of place. I also reduced the sizing on the scrolls as Ian suggested. Hopefully this helps.

I think it did help a lot. I'd like to see the lettering on a smaller circular panel, however, if it is intended for a button shop. And I have an old tin box full of those in my attic! Love....Jill

Ok, Michael, this is too much fun not to play with. I liked Jill's idea of buttons added. My buttons aren't very fancy vintage ones but you get the idea here. And please do not take offense that I played with your lovely design. I also took out the white background.

Getting better! Michael, I feel the pastel green background or outline is too close to the value (greyscale level) of the cream, so the words don't appear obviously & clearly enough. The white holes become a distraction too and make it look a bit busy-Joy has dealt with both issues well.

Joy, the buttons were my first thought but they don't want any illustrations of buttons because they won't be selling buttons and they don't want people to think that they do. The reason for the name is because they are located in an historic building named as the Button Building. This will be my last revision, so here it is
