This is a combination of some freehand digital paintwork and photo enhancing.
The picture is of one of my customers and a custom chopper that he built and had me custom paint. The image of Lyle was drawn and painted in CS4 on my Wacom Cintiq.
The picture of the bike was taken from professional photography that had been done for a magazine feature. I completely removed the background from behind the bike and used a couple of different photo images to create my own background, shadow effects, etc.
