Here's another bike I just finished, we did a retro feel to it.. metalflake background with candy apple red over that. then airbrushed some pin up models, and Variagted gold leaf.. once that was cleared and polished finished it off with some Pinstriping...

Nice work, Neil, as usual. The only thing I might have done differently would be to put a Fire Red outline around the Boulevard logo, and maybe a black outline around the perimiter of the leaf...
Great job. You get into some neat projects.

Honestly Ed, I started doing just that today with the lettering, but the owner wanted it back and he was happy with the way it was.. great minds think alike.

I agree, nice work...
To critique, use a more comfortable brush stance and your lines will look less stiff...also some lines are way to heavy, a lighter stance would change all that...in photo of you w/brush, look at how you're all squeezed up, to tense, different stance, looser looking work...trust me.
Like Ed, I'd liked to have seen a orange/red around logo and a single black line on outside of leaf and w/only two/three drops of white in black, I'd do inside gold division line also...
The "Ladies", what is there to say, knock out cool...I fight faces, most of mine look like a caveman could do it...lol
The flake, wow, great effect, and some think flakes dead, heheheh, boy are they behind...and that's ok, just as soon ignore them anyway...
Overall Neil, damn nice, keep learning, been great watching you mature over the years, haven't been disappointed yet...

Thanks again, Frank that's some nice Critique and compliments.... I look tense like that because I have bloody magnifying glasses on, and I have to get that close without seeing double.lol
As far as the lines being thick, you know what they say about the camera, it adds 5 pounds... that's my story and I'm sticking to it....he he.
I'm going to get him to drop that tank back next fall and do just that, the outline thing, he lives 300 miles away and this was the only chance he got to come and pick it up.

Neil great stuff...Haven't seen metal flake like that since I worked in a fiberglass boat factory back in the early 70's, were we use to paint boat hulls and dune buggy bodies with it... Cool.

Nice! It's good to see you doing more and more of the old stuff rather than just commercial vinyl. It looks to me like you are coming full circle.

Thanks again, the customer got the bike put back together and he absolutely loves it as everyone else does in his small community...I always am a little concerned how it will look back together.

Nice job, like Frank, I'm really impressed with the pin ups!
The heavy lines, yea, they happen. It's usually a sign your brush is getting gummy. I either wipe it off or heavy up the companion line. If you choose the latter method it often requires going back through everything you striped to make the "look" consistant.
