Whipped this up for a local baseball program for a friend of mine...will yield banners, t-shirts, etc... shown on both Blue and white backgrounds - - the colors it would most likely be used with.

Nice, I like the colour combos. The L in Ledge appears to be in a different plane. I wonder if you had a bit thicker gold around it and filled in the negative space in between it and the E if it would help that.
It's not as visible on the white, but on the blue it jumped out at me and looks too high optically.

Thanks Kelly - I see what you mean about the "L"...it's actually a visual abberation as it has the same dimensional borders as the other letters - but I think it's because of the point I had the 'home plate' intersecting the "L."

I stretched the plate horizontally so that it cut through the "E" just past the upper corner... (I think visual weirdness you pointed out was because I had the wider gold vertical stroke of the 'home plate' riding flush along the thinner gold vertical stroke of the "E", next to the "L" )

I think this might look better. Plus, I gave the "Club" a thicker white stroke and gold stroke - I think the original strokes were too narrow on these and caused some visual disappearance on the darker background...I think that helped too.

Thanks for the comments.

It's possible I may replace the "Stars" with an arc'd streaking Comet.... as that is the school's mascott.

Edited to correct grammar.

Here's the tweaked:

Nice improvements. The plate/ledge intersection looks much better. The stars do look mis-spaced, if you go with a comet please post! I'd love to see the final product.
