This is a logo I'm working on currently. Just wanted a little input on the bricks. Which seems to be more balanced, the smaller bricks or the larger ones?

I prefer the large ones. I'd like to see you move the copy Broad Street up in the panel a bit so it's optically centred. Then I'd like to see the panel made slightly smaller and moved down till the bottom of the panel lines up with the bottom of the "bricks". Then increase the spacing on the bottom row of bricks to match the spacing on the top row. I hope this makes sense to you. I really like the design elements and the colors, just a few tweaks would bring it all together in my eye.

The large bricks are better proportioned to the copy but hard to look at with the contrasting white spaces between so possibly a light value color between the bricks and a bit more contrast with "broad street." The extra spacing in the last line of copy combined with the white space between the bricks make it look like everything is floating but then I need new glasses too. Prioritze what you want us to see first, second, and third and then decide on values, edges, color, texture, etc. Thats my 2 cents.

Thank you all for the constructive suggestions. Here it is with a few tweaks following Duncan's advice. I also lightened up the secondary copy a bit so it wasn't quite so pronounced.

My only thought- the bricks look like they are stretched a bit too tall- at first I didn't get the fact that they were bricks, just a decorative border.
I really like the 2-tone lettering effect and the layout

Looks great like that. Or,,,maybe you could make the bricks completly go around (Box) with a light grey border to represent the mortor. And then on the inside you could to a pattern fill, kinda light golden yellow travetine. But if you did that, then the light grey shades might have to be changed to a outline/border around the letters or maybe you could find the right color for a new drop shade. Ahhh, might be too much.
