Just about finished this - some cleaning up of the gold, and minor blemishes.

This is a heritage listed pub nearby. The dimensional signage really suits this pub, and once it goes up I will take some more shots. All routered and hand carved, all paint, image from a business card was taken in and I did all the 3d programming myself. Although I would have preferred to replace the frame etc $$$ did not allow this. Great challenge doing from start to finish in 3d from a business card - I think that;s what challenges me the most.

Although I did not do the originsl, I still like the concept, but could have been a tad better for this establishment.

You're teasing us. Where is the pic of the whole sign? From what I can tell so far you just don't get more improvement than that. Nice job.

Sorry Dave. This should look great once they repaint the brackets etc.

Although I was glad not to, I was not commissioned to install on existing brackets, and the owner just had some shoulder surgery, so installed photos will have to wait a few weeks.

Cheers

Very nice, Gregg!

That's a huge improvement. The customer should be thrilled.

Good job.

Nice Gregg,
now for the questions!

Did you just buy a bale & cut it in half, or did you decide to create a file & rout it?

Is that 1880 date in arial & in vinyl?

Thanks all. Ian the file was completely created by me in Rhino. The font is Arial - but no vinyl on this baby. Whilst I use vinyl everyday with the mainstream Sydney Signworks, with Colorado Dimensional Signs, I have taken the approach that it's not a "real" dimensional sign unless it is ALL paint. Just a personal thing.

Cheers

Just got notified that they had installed this.

Will duck out and take some good pics soon. The pics they sent were pretty disastrous - bad light, bad colour, bad angle, bad everything actually.
