Just thought I'd share one of our recent jobs. The background is turned aluminum, the dolphin is carved HDU, and the lettering is vinyl on a lexan panel.

That's really neat Joe. I really like the use of materials there. I wonder if that's what someone was referring to with the term "ziggled" aluminum a little while ago on here...

Thanks. No idea about "ziggled". But you can grind all kinds of fun patterns (or just crazy non-patterns) A nice figure eight pattern looks cool too.

Eric, we used a drill with a scotch-brite pad (they work better than brillo)
