...Well for the past 2 years, I've been buried in my basement doing contract screen printing. I can't take it any more! lol. So I've decided to dust off the plotter and my vinyl and start looking for some more sign and retail printing work. I'm trying to come up with a new identity/logo.
Any thoughts on this? Anything I can do to improve the layout?

Phillip, I always love your work. I like the swoosh but would put it on both sides. The N is fancy, and the left side of the w, but if you added more swoosh it would balance it out. You could even add a jewel/sunrise thingie in the w. Love.....Jill
PS My swoosh might be too big, this is just a ruff trace. Needs more cowbell! Posts: 8834 | From: Butler, PA, USA | Registered: Jan 2001

Phillip, very nice.... pleasing and balanced looking in my opinion.
Jill, most of the time I agree with you, but I have to say I like it quite a bit better without the swoosh. It attracts my eye a little TOO much to the 'EWE' and then the only thing I see when I glance at the logo is...

I like the logo without the swoosh also. I was wondering for the business card, if you made the background be a light green to harmonize with green in your logo and keeping all of your shadow from the logo then change your type to black, the fancy embellishments to a darker green than the background and the color bar to that rich red with white type for your web address
I like it all, just think your logo would pop better on a lighter background.

That's really nice on Green. Just a couple of thoughts to maybe try. Have you tried a sans serif style on the contact info? I would be tempted to delete the word Owner as it really isn't necessary. I would emphasize your name a little more. I would consider deleting the word Phone and making the number bigger and just a "C" instead of "Cell" I would probably even delete www. that's a given these days. I'm adverse to clutter and love negative space. Apply the K.I.S.S. rule whenever possible.
