Here's a job we installed on Monday. I had mentioned it on the topic "balanced" last week. They wanted to work with a modest budget, but make the signage more uniform and easy to update tenants. They didn't have any sign at all directing people to the upstairs offices.
The interior signs were very dated and unappealing.
So we harmonized them and made them easily updateable with changeable inserts...
The peak shape in the signs ties into their name "Mission Ridge" They had no logo and no budget for one, so I build one in about 15 minutes for them. The triangle is a stylized "ridge" from the name and the bars transform it into a graphic "M"

On the stylized M: Sometimes super ultra simple works best. (ridge=mountain=stylized M, etc. hmmm?)
So much for charging for hours worth of logo sketches that wouldn't have worked nearly as well-!!!

Many thanks for your kind comments. We are working on a Hospital project right now, lot's of "fussy" details, then it's on to a makeover at a Professional Building. Lot's of Standoff fixings in these two projects with a much better budget. Just for a break in between we've got a 2/sided 12'x20' billboard to do this month as well as a lot of signs for three huge warehouse buildings, not to mention the usual stuff, LOL. Serves me right for taking off a couple of weeks. Gotta live up to my name and work like a dog the rest of this month.
