Hi everyone... it seems I pop in once every couple of years or so [Wink]

Thought I'd let you know that I have redone my site with lots of new chalk signs on it! Yay!

Check it out, I am always open to feedback (something you just don't get working on your own)!

Chalk It Up signs & Graphics

Thanks! Hope you are all having a busy and prosperous spring!

Really nice work Claire. May I ask what kind of chalks/pastels you use and what type of paint you use for the blackboards? They seem really vivid in comparison to what I have done.

I can see a lot of thought goes into them

Hey great site, lovely work!
I grew up with the family that has Rosati's pizza here 90 miles NW of Chicago, just wondered if it was theirs!
(but they may be relations) Claire, I would also be interested in which type of chalk you use as the colors are very vivid and nice; what do you seal it with, may I ask?

Thanks all for the kind words everyone... sign makers everywhere from 15km away from me all the way to Europe...cool!

Susan: you are from Nanaimo! Just a hop across the water!

Deb: I do think that could be the same one maybe... I have quite a few chalkboards around Chicago! Go figure!

Kelly (and Deb): I use a mixed medium for the artwork and seal with an acrylic sealer... I used to use mdf and blackboard paint, but it stank to high heaven and I just didn't want to poison myself with the off gases!!
