I love them vw vans from the 60s and 70s. Thought I would draw one up. I drew it and scanned it in and digitized it into vector format, then added some details in photoshop via a wacom.

John you are "Wicked" as we say here in Newfoundland... or another saying is "Some Shocking Good!" I had 2 VW Vans growing up.. a 69 and a 71 overnighter, that's a camper without the Pop Up.. loved them both as well as my 2 Bugs, a 71 and a 73, both superbeetles... man those were the "Daze".

Cool job, John. I always loved the old Vdubs too. Used to work in a VW dealership for a couple years.
I was driving down highway 49, just south of Jackson last week and came upon a "convoy" of 4 old VW vans, one nicer than the next...all from Florida. It was a neat sight.

Nice VW cartoon John....you ever thought about taking your "vehicles" into a comic strip venue - - maybe make them a group of characters not unlike "Cars"?

John, nice work, you should send some to Dune Buggies and Hot VW's magazine. Been in the old acvw scene for the last 30 or so years. Cool stuff, keep up the great work. Don
