This is the first time I have ever painted a tiger, it's painted on artist canvas. Comments welcome

Thanks for the comments The canvas is one of those stretched on a frame ready to go, it's only the second time I have worked on canvas, it's a bit different to what I normally work on.

Very close to perfection, a white dot on the eye would look good. Bill

Amazing! No suggestions or constructive criticism from me... How large is it?

The painting is 24" x 20" painted with water based paints made in Aust. for airbrushing. Bevin don't have any tips for painting on canvas, I just pretty much painted like I do onto paper. Neil, I did a step by step awhile ago of a dog I did, if you do a search it might still be around.

Thanks Neil, Michael that's just it, it is a God Given Talent, or just plain talent period. I know that you have to practise technique, but you have to possess talent to begin with. How many times have I heard one of my customers say they are going to start Airbrushing only to discover that they have never drawn anything in their lives to begin with.... they think all you have to do is push on the button and Art sprays out. lol My only wish is that, if I practice enough, I may someday be able to paint "half" as good as Neil and Bevin.

Neil, That is simply outstanding. It's amazing what you did the "first" time?! I touched my computer screen and I could feel the fur! I've always wanted to airbrush.

Man what a great job! I totally agree with Bill Ridel about the catchlight; it's THE most important bit of paint in the painting. The fur is incredible. My suggestion would be to add a little more organic nature to the nose, teeth and the gums. Canvas is my mortal enemy, LOL.
