If you ever have the chance, watch a dvd titled "Deadman" Johnny Deep is the main character and its start by him traveling on a train to the town of "Machine" . The movie about 12 to 13 years old. For last 3 to 4 years there has been a deadmans meet in Hayward so you can master the craft of gold leafing, glue chipping, acid etching and your on brush strokes. Meet fellow artist that are masters of this craft and learn the art of gilding.
