This is an original design by Chris that he is working on for the local Art Guild. It will be a hanging double sided sign. It is up in the air whether it will be digital, hand painted or fully dimensional. Hopefully, fully dimensional hand carved with Gold Leaf. But of course they don't have any money. This is my first time posting a pix on here so please forgive if it is done wrong.

Barb, take a new screen shot about 520 pixels by 520 pixels. Upload to the same place with the same name. Should appear as you hoped, may have to refresh screen.

I really like your design. You didn't mention the size of it?
If they go fully carved....2 sides..... there is a lot of carving there. Price wise, I personally would give them a decent discount if I thought that this could be a real "signiture piece" and would bring me full price customers in the future. It does work.
I know you didn't ask for my opinion but that's my 2c sorry
Very nice design!

Thanks all. The intent was to go fully dimensional double sided hand carved gold etc. But it the end they didn't like "all the frilly stuff around the outside" and weren't willing to pitch in a few extra bucks to go dimensional with gold or even hand painted. So in the end they will get a really nice double sided digital with a bunch of cool effects Chris added. The border will be woodgrain effect. It will be hung with a really cool black wrought iron hanger though. You'd think at least an art guild could see the vision...but alas the penny pinchers would rather drop a wad of dough on a newpaper ad that will run once. I'll post the new design tomorrow as it is on the work computer. Maybe I can get it the right size this time. Hey Mike...how's your son doing in his training? I'm sure you must be proud. Good shootin the Army chat for a bit there in WI.

Barb, I really like the design and especially the way the lettering and palette are tilted back; it really gives it character, so different than anything I've seen. You did a great job by offering the customer a plan B option just in case; now at least you saved the job.
Amazing how people drop "so much" money on a week's ad in the newspaper. I was given a tip today about that: my customer informed me that three days of advertising on tv for a good spot in the morning and evening was cheaper than the week of the newspaper ad! I was a bit amazed.
