I personally like the truck you have, but maybe a different color? (lots of yellow already,.. maybe red, or blue?)
99.7 FM looks a little plain compared to the rest of the logo (which I like). The 99.7 FM is a short/wide font, and it is hard to kern, and arch that sharply. Maybe a font that is a little taller, and not as wide?
Maybe move the truck a little to the left?
Overall, I think it looks great!
Peace, Bob

The things I like: the truck, the main lettering, and the by-line.
The things I don't like : the trees, the ornament with the rule (I'd ditch it and just bring the by-line up) and the arched lettering up top.
I'd simplify it and make it less ornate, and more hip. I'd consider an orangy flame job on the truck, so it convey's "hot" and brings another colour into the design.
The truck does need to move abit left to look more centered visually.

Oldies can mean anything these days, but I'm assuming this is s fifties/sixties station from the name. First off, I'm a gearhead and the truck jumps out at me as being wrong. It's not a hot rod, it's a stocker with a sunvisor! You need another image, maybe a fenderless roadster or a coupe witha chopped top but you definately need a hot rod instead of a fancy farm truck. Secondly, none of the letterstyles convey oldies, fifties or hot rod. I'd want to bring in a heavy bottomed script into play. I'm with Janette, the trees need to go. A car hop scene would be a nice substitution.

I'm with Nettie on the trees and particularily the ornament...they just doesn't seem to relate to the rest of the elements. Lots of potential there, and having seen your work I'm sure it will come out great.
