This is a couple of designs I did recently for two clients. I love drawing vehicles and these were right up my alley. On the coupe design, Ive shown the pencil sketch I worked from. I put this on the lightbox and ink it over that, then digitize. The lettering was provided by the customer. I made some changes in it, but not much. The bread truck was for another sign shop. I drew it up and then inked after getting approval from the customer. He added the lettering later.

Both are excellent as usual, Tater. I would expect nothing less from you. I particularly like the use of the flag in the background of the racing one! Love....Jill

THanks for showing us how your cartoons come together... I like the looseness of the pencil... there is a magic there!
Still looking forward with great anticipation to the arrival of the cridders disk!

Oh, I love the 8 ball on the stick shift! They are both fabulous, remind me of a series of chewing gum cards my brother had pinned to his wall 30 years ago.
Fantastic!

John Deaton is one Great Cartoonist....I sent him this photo..and basicly described over the phone as to how I would like for him to draw the Cartoon for me......Not only did he meet my expectations...but greatly exceeded them..... And then he added his "Magic" touch........... Needles to say that I am greatly pleased !!!!!!
BTW this Car is street driven !!!!!!! And for all you "Keen Eyes"..the Radiator is in the trunk section.......
You can see what the owner of the Coupe does for a living here......
