Looking at your window reminded me of how I got my start in the sign biz so very long ago.

That's a beautiful well executed job, Mark. I'd hate to see the day if and when it gets scraped off. Did you use a light gray for the lettering or is that pure white? (the Santa is richly colored): ps. I miss those days of window lettering too.

thanks for the nice comments, Deb here in oz we have a product called window splash film(paint receptive vinyl). So i can do the job in my workshop the vinyl takes all types of waterbased paints and on the illustrations i have got automotive base coat on it. The splash vinyl is a fantastic product as you can spice up your window work in the comfort of yourwork shop no waiting for paint to dry , no people distracting you and the customers love it as they can peel it of when they want with no residue glue left on glass.

I haven't had a chance to look around here lately and i am certainly pleased I decided to have a look today. Mark that is certainly a eye popping fluro job you have executed there. It is awesome and I bet you had one happy customer. I have not tried the film yet but as you say it would surely knock a lot of time off the job not having to second coat a white base before starting. Customers up here just are'nt prepared to pay for this stuff any more but I did a lot of it at Christmas time back in the 70's and 80's and it was real fun work.
