Customer wanted a roof sign above entrance, and I wanted to have it really fit the building, since a rectangular sign would look odd. Came up with this and Customer loved it, then of course I sat and messed with it a bit cause a few things (shadows, etc.) were bothering me. Whaddya think?

Cool!

Wish cow could have been rendered in color - but nice concept. Contrast on your main copy might have been better if you flipped the colors --- the yellow/black outline generally creates a little more disharmoney, especially on white, and more so with scripts than block letters.

But that's just nitpicking --- its looks great and nice integration of the environment into the design.

Thanks, the yellow-ish color is supposed to be gold metalllic, but my SignLab to Illustrator color fidelity isn't always great. I wanted to use a more traditional, stylized script for the Holy Cow rather than just a out-of-the-box one, but couldn't find what I had in mind, and didn't have time to hand-draw/scan/vectorize.

Yeah Chris,

I like it. Makes me smile, and nice crativity on the shape integration.

Nice stuff. . . .I just love to see anything cutout into a shape instead of a rectangle.
I also understand the time restraint on design. Get it done now. . . .Somethings have to give.
I'm sure this is much better than what the customer had in mind. Now take a picture of it - put it in your portfolio and tell the NEXT customer that this will cost them xxxx amount!
This is how I build my portfolio up. Enjoy it

The customer just came in and asked for the logo on disk, said he is getting it put on his cups, t-shirts, little cone sleeves, etc cause he loves it so much. (Of course I am only the graphic designer, but the owner doesn't charge for logo design)- so his whole logo was free with purchase of sign!
