it's so it reads right when you flip it over, whether it's horizontal being held or vertical on a display stand, leading the eye out towards the neck.

Hi Guys thanks for your kind words, yes it was a fun project and I have more of these to do so who knows what i'll do on the others.
Michael: yes I did have reservations before doing this for some reason (probably because its a big dollar guitar) but once it was black I just went for it.
Rosemary: Yes its a 2006 model as far as i know and has all the good gear on it as far as guitars go. I dont know much about guitars but this one everyone here is talking about so it must be special.
CJ: actually I was wondering if anyone would pick that up. Yes i did do it for a couple reasons (mike pretty much nailed it) this will more than likely be just displayed so i did it the way it looked better suited to the shape, but on the off chance some one plays it and it got flipped it would be readable.
