I had to strip off the old vynull and put on new last night, when I got there it was raining....I toughed it out and GOT ER DONE. It's a Gary Godby Font called "Brien" and you can buy it at www.letterheadfonts.com (this is not a paid political add for letterhead fonts, or the weather channel, or any boat company, or a vynull company, or squeegee maker, or minnesota plaid clothing, but please buy Joey's Killer kart.)

The residents of this site are just so supportive of letterhead fonts. I really do love them. I just don't get why Chuck doesn't consider advertising here. That really does boggles my mind.
Oh yeah, ... why buy the cow .....
Hmmmmm ... maybe I could help. If he signs up as a merchant TODAY, I'll buy a ... make that two fonts TODAY to add to my collection.
I give you my word.
Deal ... or no Deal?
Nice boat job Mike, and nice plug too. Glad Barb could help by resizing and posting those pix for you too.

Kelsey....ya ever hear of "HOCKEY?" hell, you Texans stole our North Stars and went and got a Cup down thar in Big D! The only good thing about basketball is the artwork on the courts.
If this job was to be painted, I would have to do it another time, but instead, it looks like he wants it to, and I get paid. Vynull is a good tool. just a tool.

Mike......I'm on to you. Toque, plaid shirt, hockey talk.....ever hear the word HOSER. You're just another wanna be Canadian. Come on up - we'll take you.
Hey Nettie - I'll add to your challenge - I'll buy $150+ worth - and my word is good too. Truth is I'll probably eventually break down and spend that anyhow, (but only if I get my T-shirt ) so there goes the incentive. I'd just spend it a lot easier if I knew there wasn't a personal moral dilemma attached from the past.
Pride is a big thing - I suspect it will continue to rule. Like I said on an earlier post, we can only see things from the inside out.
It's unfortunate - because I think it would be a win/win situation and would make a lot of customers happy. C'est la vie.....

I had no idea that Letterhead fonts wasnt an advertiser here. I just spent $450.00 this past month on Letterhead fonts and that was only because I heard about them here.
Oh...and nice work Mike!

A few comments on the Letterhead Fonts situation that has become a secondary topic in this thread.
Over the years, we have invited this company to join us as Merchants. A couple years back, there was a unfortunate incident that resulted in some bickering. I cannot even remember exactly what that was all about.
There is no personality conflict as far as I am concerned. I've only meet Chuck once in person. That was at a California Conclave years ago. We were introduced, talked briefly, shook hands and got back to doing meet stuff.
Letterhead Fonts is an excellent product. Many of those contributing fonts to the collection are Letterville regulars. The product would fit in perfectly here and we would love to have them. At least once a week, we get a call or e-mail from someone who thinks we are Letterhead Fonts. I always give them Chuck's number, along with a request to tell him Steve sent them.
For some reason Chuck has no love for Letterville. I can only assume that includes me, since he refuses to even talk with me. It's frustrating to know you are on someone's Bad Apple List and not know why. I cannot fix things if I don't know what is broken, but I will keep trying.
Am I happy about all the free promotion these guys get here in Letterville? Nope! Letterhead Fonts is getting a free benefit other Merchants pay for. He's profitting from Letterville. You guys have the benefit of learning about his great fonts. It's a great deal if Barb and I weren't so damn greedy. We support this website with income we earn by helping others make money via advertising. In this case that is not happening.
So what are we going to do to stop it? Nothing. Unlike a print publication, there is no opportunity to edit anything. Even if there was, there are many more constructive ways to spend our time. Keep buying Letterhead Fonts. I'd like to own more myself. The only goal of this post is to state the facts from our side of the fence, and prevent assumptions that too often lead to mud slinging.

Nice clean job Mike. I think letterheads should adopt the Postman's creed...they're not using it anymore ...neither rain, nor snow nor dark of night...\

The one time I mentioned advertising here to Chuck his reponse was, "why doesn't Steve advertise on MY site?" Why don't you two sign a truce and swap links?
not to hijack the post Mike, beautiful layout.

Mike, The font you chose is beautiful. What did you use for the shadow? Is it a shadowing gray material or a normal vinyl gray? What do you recommend?

And, I moved up here to the great white norf. (snowland) and see tons of boats sailing in storage areas, in yards and on marina dry docks. But, I don't get to see them in the water with perky scantily clad moving around the decks. whats up with that?

...kinda reminds me of that old Led Zep song "Fool in the Rain" for some reason. I always love your work, you mad brushman. Even your vynull looks like brushwork. And Gary Godby is one hell of a font designer...and then some! Love....Jill
