Adrienne, the third picture down of the colorful turtle left me awestruck. It looks so real, not to mention colorful, a definate eye grabber the kids will love.
Is there anything you CAN'T paint? Wow. Nice work.
P.S.... the cow mural is up! Not framed yet, but at least up! Hurrah!

HAHAHA, cute!! Well, this was the first time I used an airbrush on a mural....the cord was too short and there was only one outlet in the room I was painting, so was somewhat limited. I'm still trying to get the hang of the dual action, but sometimes i get it just right and then I have and exciting moment!!! Sometimes I got a big blast, other times just a tiny squiggle of paint, then I'd run out all togethr and have to stop and fill that thimble of a cup....man, what's whit THAT?? don't they make something bigger to put your paint in???? I only used somw white for the final highlights. I got a lot to learn....... A

Adrienne if you really are asking about larger paint holders for your airbrush I use Badger (single action) and they have two sizes of glass bottles that are better for large work. Paasche and binks also use the same bottles, Paasche has a HUGE one.

I think I'll hold on to my paashe single action for larger stuff, but I prefer to use rollers and brushes for murals and save the airbrush for the highlights and shadows. Thanks for the compliments...gee!

Adrienne, Your work is excellent! Is that your original design also? It's one thing to be able to do that on a small scale...but a mural?!? Superb!!

Won't be able to make it to Sacramento or Commerce. Too busy with my son. But I would have loved to share a room with you at Commerce. Oh well, if I win the lottery between now and then I'll see ya. In the meantime I'll be checking the site for goodies of pictures.

AWWWWSSSOOOMMMMEEE! And yes get the 1 and 2oz. badger color cups but I've always had trouble with acrylics and the air-brush---I always get the big blast and the squiggles. The lettering enamals are my favorite but then they need clear....oh no! and which clear? I'm not one of the blessed ones...I usually end up in an argument with my gun. But sometimes shadows and highlights with the rest brushed works great too! It obviously did for you, great job!

Now I'm convinced. After watching you work, and now reading this we HAVE to work together on something. I can help you quite a bit to get more results from your airbrush, and I could REALLY use some guidance from you on color use and brush use and making the designs work. I can't wait. By the way I'm usually VERY critical on marine life but yours looks GREAT!!!!!
