Here is a logo the radio station wanted on their old truck. This is what I came up with. BORING!
I think you can distort the logo as long as it looks similar to original.
I am stumped! [I Don t Know]
 -

Here is a seperated version if you have an idea.
 -
We don't want to letter over the bottom trim... unless you think I can.?

Mr. Bendel...why be so hard on yourself..it looks fine...clean, readable. I'd just go with it......some of the stuff today is so damn hard to read...fade here, fade there...simple is better...

You're probably right, It's been a long summer of knockout vehicles & I guess I'm ready to do something a little more creative. (this is a tough one).
Thanks for the input. I realize it's a readable sell, but I bet someone can take it to another level.
How about fading out the back box with cartooney looking music notes to pull the vehicle & design together & not distorting the logo?

This business is such a learning process. Yet it's what drives us, don't you think?
[Confused]

Feel free to take a crack at this one people.

Michael,

I'd go with the middle picture as it looks more in scale with the length of the truck. Also, listen to Mike - he is a Master! [Smile]

I almost forgot that you can look at my home page on my website to see my truck (how it used to be) to see how you can use more of it than just the doors and bed. I wish I could show you a newer picture of it as it really covers more of the truck. This is in regards to your post on the bull board.

Hey, THEY just need to get a van . . . [Wink]

Micheal, again, some things just can't always be souped-up or played with. If this is a 'logo', it's their logo. It's straight-forward and clear... it's nice.

You did the very best you could do with rescources at hand, which is perfect.

(And now, here's the applause gramelins) [Smile]

[Applause] [Applause] [Applause]

If you want to add a tad of impact, mabey a nice faint grey-airbrushed shadow to the left of everything would make it all appear 3-D. It could even be straight-brushed on. [Smile]

I like the middle one too. Yeah it's a little on the simple side, but it works!

Like Sheila said, maybe a subtle drop shadow would pop it off abit.

Thanks people... I need this input from time to time.
It is a restricted type project with the truck 2 tone & the logo already set.
I liked the center one too.?
(It's not something I would put my name on though) [I Don t Know]
I do like the shadow idea... will it noticeably help the layout...? With the mid range bkg color a shadow would make the logo less readable, but more interesting up close, but is this an up close design??? [I Don t Know]

I like that Bruce! I knew there were some creative people out there.
I just can't believe it was you...HaHa :rof

Thanks Man!
I know the customer well & that sticks with the logo just fine.
Ya'know... I created a red stripe just like the one you made but thought it seemed to clash with the burgundy at the time. [I Don t Know]
The red sure seems to work the way you laid it out.

I may do the thievin' thing here Bruce. (If you don't mind). I'm not in the habit of copying other peoples work, but have been known to borrow when stumped. (I always give it back when I'm finished.) [Wink]

Try this. A bigger display. A little more fun with the sub copy, but not too much. I find the stitching on cowboy boots really cool, maybe something there to use as a point of departure. Country is kinda fun in a wayback way. Have more fun with it. Great start.
