The following is a quick layout I did up for my son's new hockey team. They had to combine with another town to get enough players, and we are playing in a league in the province next to us, so they picked the name the outlaws.
I had to keep it simple, just black screenprinting on the gold/black/red jerseys.

Definitely the third one Suelynn. The contrast between the lettering and background is stronger and reads much easier. I alos like the contrasting line thickness between the badge and the lettering. You dont good!
Now I'm going to go play some golf!

They look great...#3 here too. Don't cast a pox upon me for asking...but I was just wondering why a team called "outlaws" has a sheriff's star for an icon?
I'm picturing a kerchief pulled up over the face of a bandito.....just curious.
Very neat though Suelynn

ha ha Todd. I thought of that too, but this is a team that will only play together for one year, and they wanted the shirts right away. I did the layout simply because I didn't just want block lettering on the fronts.
The team is a combined team of 6 towns. They are not "cowboy" kind of kids. They are "cool" 14 year olds, so even a cowboy hat was not their style. They don't have a league here in Saskatchewan this year, so they are playing across the border in the Manitoba league. They are the only out-of-province team, hence the name. The sheriffs badge was something to do with the "law" and it was quick and easy to draw and scan.
Sometimes quick and easy is a good thing!
