catharine, what a wonderful sign! you have a definite feel for the spirit of the art. beautiful,can allmost smell the fairground popcorn!fiddles(jill's sis)
1 trick I have with antique signs is to take it outside after it's thoroughly dry, put it face down in my gravel driveway and push it into the gravel or jump on it if it's sturdy enough. Gives it some nicks & scratches (and relieves some stress too)
