We just put this in today. The signs are 1.5" HDU with Dibond backer. The spindles are wood with HDU frame work. Main signs were routed and then blasted for texture. The tree is inlayed and was carved using a Dremel. The wording on the bottom sign is all PVC letters that were inlayed into .5" HDU which was inlayed in the main sign blank. Posts are rough sawn cedar. Finials are cutoff wood balls from Home Depot and the caps are made from HDU scraps. All acrylic flat paints topcoated with Pelucid. I think this is our best yet. Great looking sign, and looks like you are having fun with the router. I haven't got around to doing so much creative work with mine as yet mainly bread and butter work for a plastics co. but its good "basic" training! --------------------Henry Barker #1924 aka Kaftan SignCraft AB Stockholm, Sweden.A little bit of England in a corner of Stockholm www.signcraft.se www.facebook.com/signcraftsweden

Very good work! I am worried about the Pelucid though. If you have to redo it, you are in big trouble. I had a sign go bad & it was a bitch to redo, as the Pelucid is so hard. Pelucid is not a sign clearcoat! If it starts to crackle, it will let moisture in & mildew underneth the clearcoat! Ask me how I know! I hope it does not come back to bite you. Very nice Ms. Brown! My only suggestion would be to have used more "Extira" ;-) -------------------- Mark Rogan The Great Barrington Sign Company 2 Stilwell Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230 mark@gbsignco.com "Sometimes I think my head is so big because it is so full of fonts"
