This, believe it or not, is mostly Krylon fusion. Most of it was straight out of the can. I know, I know, but it was just a quickie for a buddie, and it worked! and they are happy. Most of the mask was cut on the computer. The details on the eagle are one shot, and the whole thing was cleared except the eagle, for obvious reasons.

definatly a nice job, if you wanted a really nice glossy clear on that you should try PPG Delclear, i have found you can put it over a lot of paints and it's so glossy and durable

i have used Delclear on 1 shot, acrylic lacquer, even testors model paint. you dont thin it with any harsh thinner, you just add the hardener, its already thin to shoot and apply it lightly, leave it for at least 15 minutes then spray again with a wet coat, if you want perfection leave to dry longer then sand then spray, but i usually have done one light coat when that sets up hit it with 2 or 3 wet coats then your good to go, you can even give it a buff and polish the next day. i think with the light coat on first providing your 1 shot is dry properly you wont have any troubles, its all about lightness not hitting it all over with one big heavy coat, and if you are worried and doing small areas go with frog juice, either from spray can or the quart, it gets pretty glossy, thins with mineral spirits just doesnt have that auto quality gloss and depth
