I wont have mine done by the 15th ... knowing the way my September was (birthdays and christenings every weekend last month ... plus side work) I never signed up. But it was in my head that if I could do one I would try to sneek it in ... got mine designed(ish) but know I wont have time to actually do before deadline ...
Used to live by a plaza that was located on the corner of Buffal Rd. and Union St. ... always thought it would be cool place for a tobacco/liquor store (walk in humidor, chilled wine room type place). Originally was thinking of a buffalo in a monicle and an ascot with a pipe and a snifter of brandy (if you can picture the look) ... yeah, everytime I drew it I thought of beauty and the beast too. So I changed direction a little ...
Maybe someday I'll get a chance to make it.

That is awesome! How did you do the fire looking background where the buffalo is? Is that airbrushed? Photoshop filter?
Very cool.

John, putting the buffalo in the clouds is simple (in Photoshop)
1)found a buffalo picture doing google image search(best reference source possible IMO) 2)image->adjustments->color balance ... to bring out colors I wanted 3)"rubber stamp" the ass end all over 4) "smudge" the ass' into puffs of clouds
I used a few more steps, like I think I maybe made three layers of the same thing, blurred 1, set all to different modes (ie: a normal layer, one set to multiply, one at overlay) ... just playing until I like what I see. But that's the basics

Beautiful- better than I'd have come up with by far. I'm just not keen on the particular '& '(ampersand) in the bottom line. (I don't have an alternative one for you either! yet!) Well done
