Here is a shot of a bus that we just finished, it is for a Candidate for our premiership of our province, the election should be called today. It is Arlon 3mil vinyl, the image is about 9feet tall, printed on the edge, the image came out great. It took about 10 to 12 hours to install. What do you think?

Thanks Terry, You make money the same way as if it's a smaller print. if you make a certain amount per sq ft over and above your costs. You can make money. We print large graphics all the time with the edge. The roland Versa Camm has me curious, I'm anxiously waiting for one to arrive here, and then I'll look at that. Until then I'll have to wait. The Maxx is not reliable enough, and to costly besides, and the Durachrome or dc3 is'nt reliable either, according to some of my sources, there's one shop here in st. johns who basically gave up on theirs. It sits quietly in a corner of their shop.

Good Job, but I liked the first version better. I think all political signs should be invisible like that

Hey I like Kelly's comment. Seriously, great job. just wondering who gits to take off the graphic after the election - and what the cost would be. I figure I would have to charge at least 400 bucks - what would others here charge?

Thanks, the image started out ar 150 pixels per inch, at a physical size of 18x20 inches. We out put in classical dot at 45 lpi, we outputed in rgb. Also we did'nt print the Black foil, actually we hardly ever print black, there is not much difference in the final print with or with out it. We actually did 2 buses, the other is for the Actual Premier of our provincem Roger Grimes, his is also nice but his image is about half the size. The buses were from the same company and are Identical. It was a challenge keeping these Jobs on the qt, I think that they both knew that I was doing each others buses, and they were trying to pry me for info, lol.
yes I will have to strip these down afterwards and it will cost about $400.00 to remove the vinyl. There's no edge sealer on these, this is only temporary for a month, and then they go back to original graphics.

Every year we do a city bus for the Santa Claus parade (all Edge printed) and have to remove the graphics later in the winter. Last year I tried out Gerber's removable vinyl and the whole job was a piece of cake to take off. And, I didn't change my price for removal from other years.

No, there won't be alot of adhesive left, We used all Arlon Vinyl, Caxton Foils. We never have a problem with this at all. We'll hardly use any glue remover, we do this all the time.As we speak I'm taking off Vinyl off a truck that we did 4 years ago, There's hardly any glue at all. You just have to get the right amount of heat.. not too much and not too little... as if you did'nt know that.
