The diesel is routed from 16 sheets of 1" SignFoam 3, and assembled to produce an image about 13 feet high by 30 feet long by 2" thick.

We did the routing for another sign contractor who did his own installation, after which the entire wall was texture coated by the general contractor.

The vertical gaps you see are in the design. The sign contractor wanted 1/4" expansion gaps at about 4 foot intervals.

There is similarly constructed steam engine at the same location.

We had a good time participating in the project. Vic G

Steve, I'm looking forward to seeing your finished sign. We didn't take photos of the blanks before shipping.

Bob, the vacuum pickup works better for the SignFoam grit than for wood or pvc chips. It was a fairly clean job.

The raw material for the whole job was 4' by 8' by 40 inches - 40 sheets of 1" SignFoam 3. There were stacks of cut pieces all over the shop when the job was done. Vic G
