here are some links to some murals that I painted: -

the colors in the photo did not come out the same as the actual painting, but it will give you idea. It measures 10'x8', I was limited with some of the color palette, since they had painted the rest of the room with a forest green. The customer had the illustration of the deer that they wanted. I wish I could remember how I painted the mountains [Big Grin]

Looks good. I think you nailed that mountain pretty good. If I were to critique anything, it would be to eliminate the outline around the deer, or else make it narrower...but your not asking for criticism so I'll just keep quiet.

I'd say your eye is pretty good and so are your color choices, so keep paintin' and send some more pix !! [Wink]

beautiful painting michael.
my only critique is make the deer in the foreground a little warmer, by that i mean paint the foreground deer with the color you have chosen tinted with brown and purple.(no black, black makes living things palid)

just my observation.

you got a good thing going on there michael.

go for it,
mark

Yea, I agree with the outline thing. They had the illustration of the deer, which had black outlines- by themselves looked good- but not on top of the mountain scene. Originally it didn't have the outline, but I came in with a dk. brown to satisfy the customer. If I had it all to do over again, I would have left the deer off completely. [Big Grin]

Looks great Michael. Good job on the mountains!

If you don't mind tellin'...how much did you charge for that? I was asked to do a wall in a kids room about the same size and detail but it will be an ocean scene. I have no idea what to charge them.
If you can't share, I understand. Keep up the good work!
