This is why I don't have any tattoo's. The truck did have flames, and some trick lettering on the front, but after a year of looking at it, I was tired of it. Here's the result, (almost). Still has to get cleared at this stage.

Impressive Steve! I checked out your web site too, well done. Did you just do that recently? Have you put the other half of that sign back up yet? Kel

Thanks for the great comments! It really hasn't taken too long to do, I think maybe 20-30 hrs so far, alot of repetition though. I had a guy last month walk by the truck and sneer, "why did you tack metal panels to your truck"? I told him, you'd better look again! I've had quite a few people tell me that when they first see it, it looked like I'd stripped the paint, and screwed it up. Gonna be fun once I get it back on the road.
I really want to airbrush the length of the bed, pieced together corrogated cardboard, duct taped, with sh!tty letters crayoned on it. My wife told me NO, people would think that its really there. I'm still thinking about that one lol.

Go for it, never mind what the wify thinks, go crazy. I've got a 83 Toyota pickup, lots of rust, replaced teh box with a custom built box built out of cedar. Thinking about airbrushing the cab to match the box so it looks like it is completely made from wood. Just gotta practice the airbrush more. Your work is truly inspirational, and if people have to touch it to realize it's only paint....wow... you da man.

The attention to detail is terrific. I'm definitely with you on the tatoo thing. My truck's getting a makeover soon, too and I hope it comes out a fraction as well.
