Finally have the start of our web site up. I had several pages up, but then took them off when I saw all the things that needed tweaking. Just the home page and contact pages are up now and there are changes in the works already...
Please check it out and let me know how it loads on dial-up connections. I've had a cable modem for a while now so it's hard to judge what's acceptable download time.
Any suggestions are welcome, although I don't have too many hairs left to pull out after the nights I've already spent on it

I like it so far. Looks really professional.
I hate my site. Liked my old one a lot better. But to be functional on search engines they have to be ugly with text rather than lots of javascripts and stuff.
How did you find hosting at signindustry.com?

Looks good Alan. I was looking for more info in the captions, but I'm used to trade mags & portfolio stuff here on the board complete with info relevant to the signmaker. I'm sure the clients are more visual & more content with images.

Thanks Amy- I signed up with SignIndustry.com when they first started. They were advertising free web hosting to sign shops. Now they only advertise email service(I believe). I'll let you know if I can find out if the hosting is still available. By the way, I love all the work you've shown here and on your site. I actually got the idea for the way I'm doing my photos from the way you had your original site set up.
Doug, I'm going to add descriptions to the text block under the large pic's...as soon as I can figure out how...
