Just so we're clear, I consider myself more of a sign fabricator , than a artist or designer.
Here are a few pieces I had a hand in designing and had a lot of fun producing. I did get the scroll idea out of a old SignCraft issue though.
I created this one for our lobby on a whim out of scraps of material I had laying around the shop. Still hasn't made it's way to our lobby wall as you can see I sort of figured it all out while it was being produced. Now that's a fun way to work That's a MDO base oval with 2" HDU center oval and acrylic overlays for color.
I made this HDU piece after someone gave me the nice red paint for free We were doing another job with the gold and I thought the two would go well together. We shot it all with clear to finish it off. BTW that symbol is Bonzai (sp? probably upside down )
Working on a 4'x6' piece for a neighboring city baseball field right now. I might make another post but once again it's a customer designed piece so I'm a little hesitant. You can only educate a customer so much on design principals before you fish or cut bait. I'll keep the lights on thank you very much
